Individual tourist visa

An individual tourist visa is issued for a package tours to Russia.

The normal time for obtaining a visa in Finland is six working days. In case the visa is obtained in less than six working days, the Russian consulate charges extra. An additional consular fee is charged by the Russian Consulate for visas for citizens of certain countries, please check from our office.

If the visa is obtained in Finland, following documents should be forwarded to our office in good time, preferably 2-3 weeks prior to departure:

• A filled in and signed visa application form
• A valid original passport
• One passport photo
• A clear copy of a valid travel insurance for citizens of certain countries, please check from our office

If the visa is obtained in the country of residence of the passenger, the documents must be accompanied by confirmation document (visa support) provided by Saimaan Matkaverkko. To obtain the necessary visa support letter, Saimaan Matkaverkko needs to know the personal data of each passenger at the time of booking (surname, first names, date of birth, sex, nationality and passport number). Notice! The list of documents varies in different countries.

Single entry visa

We provide both tourist and business visas. A single entry tourist visa is valid 1-30 days and a single entry business visa 30-90 days. The delivery time for a tourist visa is 6 working days and for a business visa appr. 3 weeks.

The following documents are needed for a single entry visa:

• A filled in and signed visa application form
• A valid original passport
• One passport photo
• A clear copy of a valid travel insurance for citizens of certain countries, please check from our office

Double entry visa

A double entry visa is provided only for business use and it is valid 30-90 days. The delivery time is appr. 3 weeks.

The following documents are needed for a double entry visa:

• A filled in and signed visa application form
• A valid original passport
• One passport photo
• A clear copy of a valid travel insurance for citizens of certain countries, please check from our office

Multiple entry visa

We provide 6 and 12 months multiple entry visas with official invitation from the Federal Migration Office or Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Please notice that a multiple entry visa can be obtained only if you have had previous visa to Russia from the last two years. The multiple entry business visa is valid only 180 days in a year; 90 days during the first 6 months and 90 days during the next 6 months.

The delivery time for the invitation is 4-5 weeks and following documents are needed to start the process:

• A filled in and signed visa application form
• A clear copy of the passport (picture page)
• A clear copy of a previous visa from the last two years

After the invitation is ready, the processing time in the Russian consulate lasts 6 working days. The following documents are needed for the consulate:

• A valid original passport
• One passport photo
• A clear copy of a valid travel insurance for citizens of certain countries, please check from our office
